Convent of the Incarnation / Sacred Art Permanent Exhibition Domus Dei

This convent is located Callejón de las Monjas. It was a chapel, a hospital and a brotherhood in the fifteenth century. It became a convent in the first half of the sixteenth century and the works were directed by Arts Graduate Alonso de Baena. Its main façade is plateresque and the adjoining wall belongs to the flamboyant Gothic style, being framed in a florenzal arch. The interior of the church has a single nave, retaining important stylistic fragments from the sixteenth century. The exile process completely disfigured this architecture so typical of Lower Andalusia.
